About The Ayrshire Link
The Ayrshire Link is a network of safe and accessible Active Travel routes across South and East Ayrshire,spanning from Girvan to Lugton.
Spearheaded by Ayrshire Roads Alliance, a public sector partnership between South and East Ayrshire Councils, there are currently 15 different routes planned or under different stages of development that will connect to existing routes.
Active Travel enables people to safely walk, wheel or cycle safely leading to health and wellbeing benefits as well as positively enhancing the environment and generating economic advantages.

NATIONAL CYCLE ROUTE 7
The National Cycle Route 7 features a number of Ayrshire’s landmark towns including Irvine, Troon, Prestwick and Ayr and is a popular route connecting to Glasgow in the north to Wigtown in the south, and beyond.
